Community Life

Established in 1999, Texas Traditions is a Jimmy Jacobs development. Though we do not have our own pool or clubhouse, this small, friendly community has much to offer.

The Community Relations Committee sponsors several events throughout the year, such as:

  • Monthly get-acquainted breakfasts
  • Monthly ladies’ luncheons
  • Spring picnic
  • October National Night Out potluck
  • Christmas banquet

Neighbors may also form special-interest groups such as book clubs, walking groups, or bridge clubs.

Other recreational opportunities:

Shopping:

Georgetown is home to the annual Red Poppy Festival as well as various other downtown events. Boutiques, wineries, and restaurants surround the historic Williamson County Courthouse square.

Nearby grocers include H-E-B, Randall’s, Natural Grocers and Sprouts. Fill your pharmacy needs at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart or HEB. Wolf Ranch Town Center and Round Rock Premium Outlets offer a wide range of places to shop.

And we have a Costco located just off Lakeway Dr. and I-H35 south.

Healthcare:

Texas Traditions is close to multiple health care providers including St. David’s Georgetown Hospital and Baylor Scott & White clinics.
